Gator Pools LLC operates a text-messaging program for its existing pool-service customers. This page explains what the program is, exactly how customers opt in, what messages they receive, and how to opt out. It is a transactional program only — Gator Pools does not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How customers opt in (consent)
Customers opt in to text messages in person or by phone when they sign up for pool service with Gator Pools. During enrollment, a Gator Pools representative collects the customer's mobile number and explains that the customer will receive account and billing text messages. The customer agrees verbally, and the same consent is recorded on the written service agreement the customer signs.
There is no online web form for opt-in. Consent is collected directly during sign-up, not through this website. Providing a mobile number and agreeing to texts is not a condition of purchasing pool service.
At the time of consent, the customer is told: message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and they can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
What messages you'll receive
- Invoice and payment reminders for your pool service
- Payment confirmations
- Replies to billing or account questions you text us
Example: "Gator Pools: Hi John, your invoice #1042 for $150.00 is due on 07/20. Reply with any questions. Reply STOP to opt out."
Frequency & cost
Message frequency varies based on your account activity (typically a few messages per month). Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
Opt out (STOP) & help (HELP)
Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time; we will send one confirmation and then stop texting you. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at support@gatorpoolsfl.com. Opting out of texts will not affect your pool service.
Privacy
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
